Hell's Bells - helping a flooded hotel get back to business



An hotel suffered major flooding (with a £1m loss) 3 days before a wedding was due to take place.


How we helped

Together with insurers, rhg had set up a far-reaching business recovery plan which was implemented immediately after the flood, involving a 24 hour clean up and repair operation. The hotel was able to continue with its business and have everything in place to hold the wedding celebration as planned.


With the appropriate cover and a pre-arranged disaster recovery plan in place the damage to the business was minimal despite the size of the claim while the swift response helped maintain revenues and customer loyalty.
